Each volume has a chronological index, an index by country, and an index by country in French.
Denmark ceded Norway to Sweden in 1814, by the Treaty of Kiel. Sweden and Norway operated as self-governing states, with a joint foreign policy under the Swedish monarch, until 1905, when the union was dissolved and Norway became independent.
